Angelica Panganiban was born in the Philippines. She is an Filipino American performer and comedian as well as host on television and model. Panganiban is often called "the the new the queen of dramatic" by a variety of media publications within the Philippines, is one of the most well-known and versatile actresses. In 2017 Angelica was a contestant in the 12th season of America's Got Talent where she made it through the auditions stage with her rendition of Rise Up by Andra Day. Angelica received a gold buzzer from host judge Chris Hardwick in the Judge Cuts Round after performing Girl on Fire by Alicia Keys. The result sent her straight to live shows. In the Live Shows, she sang Clarity (by Zedd) in the Quarterfinals and without You (by David Guetta) for the Semifinals. Angelica was able to make it to the finals, and she performed Symphony from Clean Bandit. She performed Stronger along together with Kelly Clarkson, and Kechi Okwuchi at the end of the competition. She was the youngest contestant to place 2nd. Angelica Hale became very sick in 2012, at the time she was only 4 years older. She was diagnosed with double pneumonia caused by an aggressive S. pneumoniae bacteria infection. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston was forced to put Angelica Hale on ECMO Life-Support when she urgently required life-saving medical treatments. The patient became sick, and suffered organ failure including kidneys that did not recover. Her condition forced her to alter her lifestyle around hemodialysis as well as peritoneal dialysate. After eighteen days in hospital, at a point when she was close to death, and began the long road back to healthy. Her life had been forever altered. Angelica's entire life was transformed after she was diagnosed with dialysis for kidneys. Her mother was the sole one who could donate an organ. Angelica Hale and her mother had an organ transplantation procedure on the premises of Emory University Hospital in Atlanta and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston on September 13 2013. Angelica Hale, a young teenager from Atlanta, who always wanted to be an actress and singer she is still working toward that goal.
